Finally!

This just in from Mike Allen's Politico Playbook:

BREAKING/DRIVING THE DAY: From the Hawaiian White House, Senator Obama is firing back at Senator McCain's successful July 30 'Celebrity' ad featuring Paris Hilton and Britney Spears. (McCain's female narrator: 'He's the biggest celebrity in the world')

The new 30-second Obama TV uses audio and video from McCain's talk-show appearances – 'Letterman,' 'Leno,' 'The View' -- to mock him as 'Washington's biggest celebrity.'

The ad, called 'Embrace,' features late-nighty band music, opening with footage of 'John McCain!' being announced on TV, and the Obama announcer saying, 'For decades, he's been Washington's biggest celebrity. John McCain.' Then we get footage of McCain and President Bush hugging.

'And as Washington embraced him, John McCain hugged right back. The lobbyists – running his low-road campaign. The money – billions in tax breaks for oil and drug companies, but almost nothing for families like yours. Lurching to the right, then the left. The old Washington dance -- whatever it takes.'

Then another late-night announcer bleats, 'John McCAIN!' And the Obama announcer concludes: 'A Washington celebrity, playing the same old Washington games.'

'I'm Barack Obama and I approved this message.'
